BLISTERS ARE GROSS GUYS, WEAR SHOES WHEN YOU GO FOR WALKS. A few days ago I forgot this advice and wound up with gross scary MUTANT BLISTERS on the heels of my feet, and it was terrible. They are mostly better now, though! But continuing my trend of bad health, I might be coming down with bronchitis, considering that my sister and I both woke up with sore throats and bad congestion the same day my brother was diagnosed with it, l-lol. I am tired of coughing :( buuut at least there is a lot of medicine from my brother's bout of it around if it does get that bad, and it didn't show up until after choir was over for this semester. YAY BRIGHT SIDES!!

...But my computer is also suffering from some sort of virus :( I think it might have picked up Vundo or SOMETHING again and Malwarebytes isn't catching it! bawwww slower computer. I think I'm going to try a few other programs to see if I can get rid of it, DOES ANYONE HAVE SUGGESTIONS :(

BREAKING NEWS: I NOW HAVE A RECEIPT FROM IKEA PINNED TO MY WALL 8D

That would be because on Saturday during my abduction to Dallas, orca_required and I went there to eat delicious IKEA food! Including SWEDISH MEATBALLS and lingonberry juice. IT WAS VERY TASTY. IKEA eating utensils are very cute. Other places we hit up during the weekend: the Cheesecake Factory (omnomnom Dutch Apple Caramel Streusal cheesecake), the bookstore (YAY FIRST TWO VOLUMES OF 07-GHOST), SIX FLAGS, a CVS in a failed search for Cadbury eggs, a (closed, sob) mall, her aunt's ridiculously huge house, and a Dave&Buster's. We ate a lot of delicious food this weekend. We were also on the computer a lot, because, well. addicts!! BUT IT WAS V. V. FUN, and my mom was satisfied by the end that I hadn't been abducted by this strange person I met online. |D (I didn't think she would get it if I told her that Mikage was too blond to abduct someone.) IT WAS BASICALLY THE DORKIEST WEEKEND EVER. I have a receipt from IKEA pinned to my wall!!1! 8DDD

-- a gecko, behind two window screens that were in my closet (this would just be a "hee, gecko socute" thing if my cat hadn't caught sight of him; I now fear that she shall never leave my closet again)
-- my long-lost bag of colored pencils, in a different binder that had fallen behind my piano
-- my long-lost pair of adorable wedge sandals, behind my TV cabinet
-- my entire collection of Harry Potter books, under my bed

Long John Silvers = best birthday dinner ever y/n

...I always laugh at the mural of "El Jay's Place" on the Long John Silvers walls; I'M SURE YOU KNOW WHY.

Anywayyy yesterday Mom took me out for my birthday, thus the LJS, and it was. an ADVENTURE. First off, before we left, the car wouldn't start! So we had to use my brother's car to jump start it, and then we were off. We went to get a new tire for the car first, because we figured a blow-out and horrible crash on my birthday would suck, and we walked across the street to browse the mall while the tire was being changed. MALL PRETZELS ARE STILL THE BEST PRETZELS EVER. We didn't really do much; I stopped by the Borders in the mall to see if they had the first volume of 07-GHOST (they didn't) and we were looking through the candy store when the tire guy called to say the car was done. Mom told him that he called just in time because we were looking at ~*~CANDY~*~ and he joked that we should get him some, so. We did. |D (IT WAS PRETTY CRAPPY CANDY, THOUGH, and v. overpriced. :<)

Aaaand after that we went in search of somewhere to eat! I was craving seafood so we drove all over town looking for a seafood place that wasn't fast-food, and when we FINALLY found somewhere... well, the seafood place was open from 8 AM to 10 PM! But on Tuesdays it was closed from 3 PM to 4 PM, just for that hour.

....It was 3:15 when we found it.

SOB.

So we decided instead of waiting around for an hour to eat and making Mom late for her 6 PM class, we would just go to Long John Silvers. Which if you're going to go for fried fast-seafood is pretty great anyway. THUS MY AWESOME BIRTHDAY DINNER! After we ate we made a few more stops, at Target and Best Buy, because I wanted to see if I could find Anastasia on DVD or the first season of Avatar, and failed. We would've gone to another bookstore to try and find 07-GHOST again but there wasn't another big bookstore in town. :(b MAN, NO SEAFOOD AND NO BOOKSTORE, Temple sucks. Buuut after a few more terrifying moments where the car once again refused to start, we headed to Mom's statistics class. (Which was an adventure in itself, with Mom not really knowing where the school was and yelling at people that were a little too eager to lay on their horns and us having to figure out which classroom was hers out of the whole giant school--)

BUT WE GOT THERE and I played pinball on Mom's laptop while she was in class, and after picking up cake and ice cream we headed home. /o/ My uncle and a few of my cousins came over to celebrate and chat for a while, and my uncle promised to teach me how to drive sob, AND IT WAS VERY FUN. |Db

Christmas was great otherwise, too. I got Victory of Eagles and my camera, which was all that I asked for, and some cute clothes besides.

...My brother also got me the Zombie Survival Guide. And my mom (half-jokingly) got me makeup and a makeup bag, sob my family...!!

So! I'm in a choir group that meets once a week for an hour and a half to work on our songs. Considering that we had nine songs to learn, there wasn't much time to socialize during practice! Buuut the other day, we all loaded up on a bus and were driven to the location of our final concert, about two and a half hours away from our original location. Plenty of time to socialize! Which I didn't necessarily think of as either good or bad because hey, I was more interested in sleeping on the way up to the concert anyway! BUT THEN.

OTHER GIRLS: chatter chatter chatter Jacob...

THEY WERE, INDEED, TALKING ABOUT TWILIGHT, FOR TWO AND A HALF HOURS, AND ME UNABLE TO ESCAPE. I just. sob.

O-OTHER THAN THAT THOUGH the concert went fine (and my aunt brought me flowers ;;♥), I was just sick of everyone ever by the time I got home. Though the busride back was actually sort of awesome because we saw a giant explosion and that put a stopper in the Twilight talk for a bit! The funny part was that we had just driven into Crawford when the explosion happened so everyone's reaction was "...............DID SOMEONE BLOW UP THE PRESIDENT'S RANCH D:"

The actual cause was much less exciting! APPARENTLY ROCKETS WERE BEING TESTED? idk my bff yahoo! news.

ANYWAY. This post was going to be pet picspam but our FINALLY WORKING CAMERA is... out of batteries. SO YOU GOT TWILIGHT AND EXPLOSIONS INSTEAD. Woe, I know. :(
